       Charles Adams & Wife  To  Thomas Scott
                           "Deed"
This Indenture made the 28 of December in the year of
Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Eighty three betw
een Charles Adams and Symanthia Adams of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida of the first part and
Thomas Scott of the second part witnesseth that the
said partys of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Twenty five Dollars lawful money of the
United States of America to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part at or before the enseal
ing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aleined
remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these prese
nts do grant bargain sell alein remise release convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part and
his heirs and assigns forever all Lot of Land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
described as follows commencing at the North West
Corner of a Lot of Land lying and being in the East
half of the West half of North East quarter of section
Eleven Township Eight South of Range Eighteen E sold
by W.W. Scott to the trustees of the Methodist E. Church
(colored) run East Two Hundred and ten feet North
Two Hundred and ten feet West Two Hundred and ten
feet thence south Two Hundred and ten feet to place of
beginning containing one acre more or less Together
with all and singular the Tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise apper
taining and the reversions remainders and profits there
of and also all the estate title interest possession claim
and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of
the said parties of the first part To Have and to hold
the above granted and described premises with the ap
purtenances unto the said party of the second part his 
heirs and assigns to their own proper use forever
and the said parties of the first part for their heirs
executors and administrators do covenant to and with
the said party of the second part his heirs and ass
igns that the said parties of the first part at the
time of the sealing and delivery of these presents are
lawfully seized in fee simple of and in all and sin
gular the above described premises with appurten
ances and have good right and lawful authority to 
sell and convey the same and that the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns 
shall peaceably possess the above granted premises
with the appurtenances without molestation or distur
