Alachua County } This Indenture made the 14th day
of May AD 1884 between Jas D. Matheson in his own
right and Jas D. Matheson as Trustee for Elise W.
Haile composing the Merchantile firm of lately doing
business under the firm name and Style of Matheson
and Company of the first part and Emma Martin
wife of Daniel C. Martin of the second part all of
the State and County aforesaid witnesseth: that the
said party of the first part for and in con
sideration of the sum of Four Hundred ($40000)
dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowled
ged has granted bargained sold and conveyed and
by these presents dose grant bargain sell and
Convey unto the said party of the second part
all those certain lots tracts pieces or parcels of land
lying and being situate in the State and County
aforesaid and particularly discribed as follows
to wit: Lots Numbers One (1) Two (2) Twenty Seven (27)
and Twenty Eight (28) In Block Number Seven (7) of
Browns Addition to the Town of Gainesville the
same being the North West quarter of section Five
(5) in Township Ten (10) South Range Twenty (20) East
East of the Lots hereby conveyed being One hundred
and fifty (150) feet North and South by Seventy (70)
feet east and West together with all the rights
privileges tenements hereditaments and appurten
ances to the same belonging or in anywise
