John Powers and Wife to Francis P. Olmsted
Deed
This Indenture made this the 15th day of February AD 1876 between John
Powers and Annie his wife of the County of Alachua & State of Florida parties of
the first part and Francis P. Olmsted of the same place party of the Second part, Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part in and for the consideration of the sum of One hun
-dred Dollars to them in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and conveyed, and by these
presents, doth bargain, sell and convey, unto the said party of the second part h heirs and assigns
forever all that certain parcel of land lying and being in the Town of Newnansville in the County
and State aforesaid, described on the plat of said town as Block No four (4) of Range No
five (5) containing four acres more or less according to the survey of said Town,
To have and to hold all & Singular the said premises with the appurtenance unto his the
said party of the second part his heirs & assigns forever in fee simple. And I the said
party of the first part, for myself my heirs executors & administrators, do hereby covenant and
agree to warrant & defend the title to the premises against all & every person lawfully
claiming the same or any part thereof.

Before me personally came Annie Powers wife of John Powers and acknowledged
on a private examination separate & apart from her said husband that she signed the foregoing
without any fear or apprehension of or from her said husband, and in evidence
