                              Know all men by these pres
ents that I Wm D Evins in the State aforesaid in considera
-tion of the sum of One Thousand Dollars to me paid by
Basil M Reeves in the state of Florida have granted
bargained sold released and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and release unto the said Basil M Reeves all that cer
-tain tract or Lot of land situate in the state of Florida
Alachua County, beginning at a stake on the dividing
line between John H Evins & Wm D Evins Thirty seven (37) chains
and Twelve (12) links north of the Section Line SLC Thirty two
(32) Township Eleven (11) Range Twenty one (21) STE running
thence north on said line fifteen (15) chains and twenty two
and a half 22 1/2 links to corner in pond, Thence East Twelve
(12) chains and Seventy (70) links to a point within twenty
(20) feet of Rail Road. thence along said RR South sixteen
(16) degrees East to a point; which prolonged to the 1st corner shall
form a line a line parallel to the second course Thence
to the point of beginning Containing Twenty two (22) acres
more or less. Together with all and singular the
rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the
said premises belonging or in anywise incident or apper
-taining. To have and to hold all and singular the
premises before mentioned unto the said Basil M Reeves
his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself
and my heirs Executors and Administrators to warrant and
forever defend all and singular the said premises unto
the Basil M Reeves his heirs and assigns against my
-self and my heirs and any other person or persons lawfully
claiming or to claim the same, or any part thereof?

December in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight
hundred and Eighty Three, and in the One hundred and
Eighth year of the Sovereignty and Independence of the
United States of America
