               "Deed"
Know all men by these presents that this Inden-
ture made this Sixth day of March 1884, between
Henry F. Townsend and Mariah U. Townsend of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida partys of the
first part and John H. Townsend of the County and
State aforesaid party of the second part witnesseth
that the said partys of the first part for and in Con-
sideration of the sum of $750 100/00 to them in hand
paid by the said party of the second part hath
bargained sold Conveyed and Confirmed and do
by these presents bargain sell Convey unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever
all and Singular the County of Alachua and State
of Fla bounded and described and described
as follows to wit: the South West Quarter of Sec-
tion Twelve Township Nine Range Fourteen
14 East Containing one hundred and Sixty Acres
more or less together with all and Singular the
rights titles claims interest or demands to have
and to hold the Same unto the Said party of the
second part for his own use and benefits forever
and we the said party of the first part further
Covenant with the said party of the second part
his heirs or assigns that we are lawfully Seized
in fee Simple of the above granted premises and that
the said premises is free from all encumbrances
and that we the said party of the first part have
full right and lawful authority to sell and Convey
the same and we do for ourselves heirs and assigns
forever warrant and defend the same against
the lawful claims and demands of all persons as
well in law as equity in witness our hand and seal
March the 6th 1884

that I Mariah U. Townsend wife of the above
named Henry F. Townsend grantor in the above
deed of Conveyance that I make myself a party in
and to the above granted land and do the Same for
the purpose of relinquishing all my right of thirds
or dower in and to the above granted lands and further
