This Deed of Conveyance witnesseth that George B Griffin of Du
-val County, and State of Florida and Mary A his wife in cons
-ideration of the sum of Seven hundred Eighty three Dollars which the said
George B Griffin hereby acknowledges he has received from Julia G Bowen
of the County of Duval state of Florida have bargained and sold and
hereby give grant release alien and confirm to the said Julia G Bowen
and to her heirs and assigns the following land situate in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida to wit: Lots numbered Thir
-ty one (31) Sixty four (64) Ninety (90) and One hundred and Twentyone
(121) on the plat of Windsor, containing Thirtyone and 33/100 acres
being located in Township Ten South of Range Twentyone East.
Together with all the easements rights of way and appurtenances gener
-ally belonging to said land. And the said George B Griffin coven
-ants with the said Julia G Bowen that he has lawful right to
sell and convey the said premises as above he has done, that the
said premises are free from any lien or incumbrance in law or in
equity; that he will execute any further writing which may reas
onably be required of him to assure the title hereby aliened and That
he will warrant and defend the said title against the lawful claims
and demands of all persons. And the said Mary A Griffin hereby consents
with her husband to the alienation of said land and makes herself
a party to the deed for the purpose of relinquishing her dower and
right of dower. Witness our hands and seals the twenty second of
May AD 1884.

County of Duval } Be it Known that before me a
Notary Public personally appeared George B Griffin and Mary
A Griffin his wife who severally acknowledged that they executed
the foregoing deed for the purpose therein expressed; and I further
certify that said Mary A Griffin at an examination separate and
apart from her said husband did acknowledge that she executed the
foregoing deed of conveyance and joined in the same for the purpose of
relinquishing her dower or right of dower in and to the premises des
-cribed therein, and That said relinquishment was made freely and
voluntarily and without any fear compulsion or constraint of or
from her husband, the said George B Griffin. Witness my
hand and seal this 23rd day of May AD 1884.
