Mrs Annie L Barton wife of D.W.L. Barton the grantor in the
foregoing conveyance who being first duly questioned and examined
by me separate and apart from her said husband, says
and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of
conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and an
nouncing all of her right of dower in and to the land in said
deed described, and that said relinquishment and renunciation
of dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily and
without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or
from her said husband.

                 Frank K. Ella Palmer to Robt G. Rutherford
                                     "Deed"
   This Indenture made this fourteenth day of June in the
year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty four
by and between Frank Palmer and Ella Palmer his wife of the
County of Alachua, State of Florida of the first part and Rob
-ert G. Rutherford of the City of Washington in the District of
Columbia of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Four hun
dred and fifty ($450) Dollars in lawful money of The United States
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold
aliened Enfeoffed, released and conveyed and do by these
