Alachua County    } This Indenture made this Eighth day of February
AD 1883 between Mrs Mary H McRae in her own right and
Thomas J McRae her husband both of Hawthorn in said State
and County parties of the first part and Frank S Lewis of Phila
-delphia of the County of ____ State of Pennsylvania. Witnesseth that
for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty two Hundred Dol
-lars to the parties of the first part paid, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
party of the Second part his heirs and assigns in fee
Simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being in the County of Alachua aforesaid and described as
follows. The North half of that Certain body of land boun
-ded on the East by Santa Fe Lake on the south by lands
sold to Mrs Maggie Wickersham on the west by Victoria Ave
-nue and on the North by lands sold Miss E R Cloud lying
in Section (33) Thirty three and containing Thirty six acres
or thereabouts bounded on the North by land of Miss E R Cloud
on the East by Santa Fe Lake on the south by land of Hans
de Luttichan West by Victoria Avenue said Avenue to
always remain open. To have and to hold the above described
land to the said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns
together with the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto
being belonging, or in any manner appertaining. And the
said parties of the first part, for Themselves their heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns the title to the above bargained
sold and conveyed premises will forever warrant and defend
against all legal claims and demands. In testimony whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and seals the date first written.
