              H F Dutton & Co To Charles Tipple
                         "Bond for Title"
      Know all men by these presents that we H F Dutton & Co
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida are held and
firmly bound to Charles Tipple of Gainesville in the sum of
Ninety One & 84/100 (9184/100) Dollars, to be paid to said H F Dutton & co their
Executors, Administrators, or assigns, to the payment whereof we do
bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by
these presents, sealed with our seal, and dated the twentieth day of May
AD 1884. The condition of this obligation is, that if the said H
F Dutton & co upon payment of Ninety one & 84/100 ($9184/100) Dollars by said
Charles Tipple within six months from this date, agreeably this
note of even date herewith, shall convey to said Charles Tipple and
his heirs forever, a certain tract of land situated in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida to wit: Commencing at the
South East corner of Lot Fifteen (15) Block three (3) Range one (1)
in Section four (4) Township ten (10)_Range Twenty (20) of Ropers
addition to the town of Gainesville, recorded in Deed Book "J"
public records of said County at page 550 & running north fifty
(50) feet thence west two hundred (200) ft thence south fifty (50)
feet thence west two hundred (200) feet, back to place of beginning,
by a warranty deed in common form duly executed and ack
nowledged and in the meantime shall permit said Charles Tipple
to occupy and improve said premises for his own use, then
this obligation shall be void, otherwise to remain in full
force and effect. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set
our hand and seal this the day and year first above written.
