County of Marion  } This Indenture was made this the 13th day of
May 1884 AD one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty four
Between Elias F Brown and Julia A Brown (his wife) Both
of the County of Marion and State of Florida of the first part
and Carrie B Farrell of Waldo Alachua Co State of Florida
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted sold
and conveyed unto the said party of the second part heirs
and assigns the following described tract or parcel of land lying
being and situate in the County of Alachua and State of Flor
-ida to wit: The west half of the north east quarter of the
north west quarter of Section (25) Twenty five, Township
(8) Eight south of Range (21) Twenty one East and contain
ing by estimation (20) Twenty acres be the same more
or less. To have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed
together with all the rights privileges and appurtenances
to the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns
forever. And the said parties of the first part do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second
part her heirs and assigns for themselves and their heirs exe
cutors and administrators, to forever warrant and defend
the title to the premises hereby conveyed against the claim
of every person whomsoever. In witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals.

                                       County of Marion } On this fourteenth day of
May AD one thousand eight hundred and eighty four before me
John Cordero a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally
appeared Elias F Brown and Julia A Brown his wife whose names
are subscribed to the annexed instrument as parties thereto person
-ally known to me to be the individuals described therein and
who executed the same and they and each of them acknowledged
to me that they executed the said instrument, each respectively
freely and voluntarily, for the uses and purposes therein
mentioned - And I do hereby further certify that Julia A Brown
wife of the said Elias F Brown did acknowledge to me
on an examination separately and apart from her
husband that she executed the same freely and
voluntarily for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
