County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into this the
27th day of February AD One Thousand eight hundred and Eigh
-ty four (1884) between Eliza A Newman of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and Joseph F Desha of the
second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars
to me in hand paid by the said party of the second part the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, sold and
conveyed unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns the following described tract or parcel of land lying
being and situate in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida to wit:  Lot 5 in Lot 3 Section Thirty Township Eight
Range Forth two East; running East along the waters of Lake
Alto 165 & 5 inches, thence south 1000 feet then west 6515
inches thence North 940 feet to the place of beginning, according
to a plan of Survey made by R J Robinson made the 20th day of
February AD 1884, of a subdivision of said Lot 3 in Section 30
Township 8 Range 22 East.  To have and to hold the premises
hereby conveyed together with all the rights, privileges and
appurtenances to the said party of the second part her heirs and
assigns forever.  And the said party of the first party to hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part
