"Deed"
This Indenture, made this Twelfth day of July
in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
Eighty four by and between Frank Palmer of Alachua County
in the State of Florida, but temporarily in the District of Co
-lumbia, and Ella Palmer his wife of the first part and
Walter S. Eaton, Edward Godey, John W. Godey, Helen McL
Kimball widow, and R.R. Andrews all of the District of Col
umbia of the second part, witnesseth that the said parties of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three Thousand
Dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid
by the said parties of the second part at and before the Sealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby ackno-
wledged have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released
and conveyed, and do by these presents grant bargain sell alien
enfeoff release and convey unto the said parties of the second
part, their heirs and assigns forever as tenants in common and
not as joint tenants and in the proportions hereafter named
All that parcel of land lying and situate in Alachua County
as aforesaid and Known as and being those parts of section num-
-bered One (1) in Township numbered Eleven (11) South of Range
numbered Eighteen (18) East Known upon a subdivision made
by said Frank Palmer and recorded in the land records of
said Alachua County, as and being lots numbered Ten (10) and
Eleven (11) lying on the north side of the Railroad leading from
Fernandina to Cedar Keys; Also all that other part of said
section numbered one (1) lying south of said Railroad, and West
of Lake Avenue, or road leading to Lake Kanapaha, which
includes lots numbered from thirty, (30) to forty three (43) con
-secutively, both inclusive, and a tract or lot not numbered, con
taining in the whole three hundred acres of land, Subject
nevertheless to the payment by said Grantees of a note of Said Frank
Palmer for the sum of $1,080 secured by a deed of trust upon the
whole of said Section, the payment whereof is assumed by the
parties hereto of the second part, and forms a part of the consid
-eration hereof, Together with all the improvements ways Ease
-ments rights priveleges and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in anywise appertaining, and all the remainders reversions
rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title
interest claim and demand, either at law or in equity or oth
-erwise however, of the said parties of the first part of in to or out
of the said pieces or parcels of ground and premises;
To have and to hold the said pieces or parcels of
ground and premises and appurtenances unto the said parties
of the second part their heirs and assigns as tenants in common
in the following undivided proportions, namely: To the Said |
