to above sum of Twenty one Hundred and fifty Five Dollars on which
Said Barnett of 2 part has paid said Graham the sum of
Four Hundred Dollars the receipt of which has hereby acknowledged
has & does agree for said Graham to have the balance of Mail pay due on
service of months of October November & December 1884 amounting to
seven Hundred and Ninety Eight 75/100 for one month of which
service being performed by said Graham leaving when such service
is performed Five Hundred & thirty two 50/100 dollars due Graham &
Barnett Now said Barnet relinquishes his portion Two hundred
and Sixty six 25/100 Dollars to be placed on credit of Notes
executed for payment of above Stock also said Barnet
relinquishes to said Graham one half of his mail pay
arising from pay of mail service on said Route unto
said Graham until all of his notes are paid said amounts
to be credited on said notes of Barnett's executed for payment
of said Stock and vehicles &c Now said party of 2 part has
executed unto Mrs Mary Bevil Graham his notes payable
every three months for one hundred & Thirty Three Dollars and
Twenty five cents So then said note due for that amount
to be delivered to said Barnet & said notes will be evidence of
that amount being paid. Now it is understood & agreed by
said Barnett that the title to said mules rests in said
Mary Bevil Graham until said notes are paid & in case
of Death of Bassett & said notes are notes are not paid said
Mary Bevill Graham is authorized to take possession 
of said mules the same lien being given in order to secure
payment of said stock to her or her heirs administrators
agents &c Now said Mary Bevill Graham gives right to
said Bassett's agents to pay any remainder on said mules
if any should be due now said M.B. Graham in
consideration of above agreement has made bill of sale
to said Stock to Julia Ann Bassett subject to
above stipulations Now furthermore said Graham & Barnett
has & does agree that in case of death of either partner
the surviving partner has the privilege to carry on the
business until expiration of said contract July 1st
