                 "Assignment"
This Indenture made the 31st day of October 1884 between
E.K. Fagan of Newnansville Fla party of the second part.
Whereas the party of the first part owes divers debts
which he is unable to pay and discharge the same
with punctuality or in full and the said party of the
first part is now desirous of making a fair and Equitable
distribution of all his stock of merchandise among his
creditors Now therefore this Indenture witnesseth that the
said party of the first part in consideration of the premises
and of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by the
party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold released
assigned transferred and set over and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell release assign transfer and set over
unto the said party of the second part and to his
heirs and assigns forever all my stock of Merchandise bills
bonds notes book accounts claims demands choses in Action
Judgments Evidences of debt To have and to hold the same
and every part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances to the
said party of the second part his heirs executors administrators
and assigns. In trust nevertheless to and for the following
uses intents and purposes, that is to say that the said party
of the second part shall forthwith take possession of Stock of
