Alachua County } Whereas I the undersigned Olive C. Colclough
wife of the undersigned Charles A. Colclough did heretofore
on 26th day of June AD 1878 while I was called and
Known by the name of Olive C. Harvard as sole heir
at law of S.F. Harvard of Alachua County Florida deceased
who was my Father make execute and deliver unto John
B. Brooks of Gainesville Florida a deed of conveyance in fee
to the property hereinafter described - And whereas I was
then a minor under the age of twenty one years and
whereas I the said Olive C. Colclough am now over the
age of twenty one years and am desirous of ratifying and
confirm the said deed of Conveyance so made by me on
said 26th day of June AD 1878 Therefore the premises
Considered. Know all men by these presents that we the
said Olive C. Colclough sole heir at law of the said S.F.
Harvard deceased and Charles A. Colclough her husband of
Gainesville Alachua County Florida for and in Consideration
of the sum of one dollar to us in hand paid by
Josephine B. Brooks widow and heir at law of the said
John B. Brooks now deceased have ratified and Confirmed
and by these presents do ratify and confirm the said deed
of conveyance so made by me the said Olive C. Colclough on
the said 26th day of June AD 1878 while I was known as
Olive C. Harvard which deed is recorded at page three hundred
and fifty four of Deed book "K" of the public records of
Alachua County Florida and we do hereby grant bargain sell
Convey and forever quit claim unto her the said Josephine M.
Brooks as heir at law of the said John B. Brooks deceased
all our right title interest estate clams and demands at
law or in equity of in and to the property described in
the said deed so made as aforesaid on the said 26th day of June
AD 1878 and which is described as being Lot No Three (3) of
Block Two (2) of Range Three (3) located on the West side of the
Court House Square in the Town of Gainesville in Alachua
County State of Florida Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in anywise appertaining = To Have and to Hold
the same unto her the said Josephine M. Brooks ^And to her
heirs and assigns^ entirely freed and clear of and from any
and all Claims at law or in equity upon the part of us the
grantors herein or of our heirs absolutely and forever
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affixed hereto our seals on this Twelfth day of November
AD 1884
