payment of legacies and I declare that the said two several legacies
shall be in addition to and not in substitution for any other provisions
made for my said wife either by this will or any Codicil hereto or by my
marriage settlement nor shall such legacies or either of them be considered
contingent on her acceptance of the office of Trustee and Executrix of this my will
I bequeath to each of my Trustees an Executors hereinafter named other than
my said wife the sum of $500 in case he undertake the Trusteeship
and executorship hereof. I devise all my estate at Wyck Hill aforesaid and
all other manos messages land tenements and hereditaments and
real Estate of every tenure (including Chattels real) of or to which I shall
at my death be seized possessed or entitled or over which I shall at
my death have a general power of appointment or disposition by
will (except what I otherwise dispose of by this my Will or any
Codicil hereto) unto and to the use of my said wife Agnes. My Brother-
in Law William Wright Thomson and my Friend Maurice Powell of
Palace Gardens Terrace Kensington in the County of Middlesex Bannister
at Law their heirs executors and administrators respectively according
to the tenure thereof respectively upon trust that they my said Wife
the said William Wright Thomson and Maurice Powell or the
survivors or survivor of them or the heirs executors or administrators
respectively of such survivor or other the Trustees or Trustee for
the time being of this my will shall sell the same either
together or in parcels and either by public auction or private
contract and may make any stipulations as to title or evidence
or commencement of title or otherwise which they, he, or she
shall think fit and may buy in or rescind or vary any
contract for sale and resell without being answerable for any
loss occasioned thereby and may for the purposes aforesaid
or any of them execute and do all such assurances and things
as they he or she shall think fit, and I declare that any of the
said premises may be sold with an exception or reservation of all or any
mines minerals coals quarries stone clay sand and Substances in under or
upon the same and with or without rights and powers of or incidental to
the searching for working getting carrying away and disposing
of the said mines minerals coals quarries stones Clay sand and
substances or otherwise in relation thereto as to the Trustees or Trustee
for the time being of this my Will may seem fit and all or any
such mines minerals coals quarries stones Clay sand and
substances may be sold with or without such right or powers as
aforesaid separately from or with part only of the surface and
in either case without prejudice to any future sale of the
excepted mines minerals or other premises aforesaid or (as the case may
be) the undisposed of surface or other lands and any purchase
or purchases may be required to enter into any covenants or
submit to any restrictions of any descriptions which the said Trustees
or Trustee may consider to be for the general benefit for the property
