This Indenture made the 12th day of June in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
Eighty Between Chas O. Gladwin of the Town of Had-
dam of the County of Middlesex and State of Con-
necticut party of the first part and Maria A.
Gladwin of the town of Melrose County Alachua
State of Florida of party of the second part -
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for good
and valuable Consideration as well as for five dollars
lawful money of the United States of America to him
in hand paid by the Said party of the Second part at
or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted
bargained Sold aliened remised released Conveyed and
Confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien
remise release Convey and Confirm unto the Said party of
the second part her heirs and assigns forever all the fol-
lowing lots tracts or parcel of land lying and being in the
town of Melrose County of Alachua and State of Florida
described as follows Lot Number four (4) as appears on
the Map of said Town of Melrose and more particularly
described as follows beginning at the North East Corner of
said lot where the west Side of Centre Street touches the
east and west line of lot Number One hundred and
eighteen (118) thence along said line one hundred and fifty
feet to Hampton Street thence South along the east side
of Hampton Street one hundred and fifty feet to Corner
of Pine Street one hundred and fifty
feet thence North along the West side of Centre Street one
hundred and fifty feet to place of beginning and Con-
taining half acre more or less. Also lot Number Eleven
(No 11) as appears on said Map Beginning at the the North
East Corner of said lot where the West Side of Hampton
Street touches the East and West line of of Lot Number
Twelve (No 12) thence long the said line one hundred
and fifty feet to Corner of Lot Number Fourteen (No 14)
thence south one hundred and fifty feet to Corner of Pine
Street thence West one hundred and fifty feet to Hamp-
ton Street thence North one hundred and fifty feet to
place of beginning and Containing one half acre
more or less - Together with all and Singular the rights
and privileges tenements hereditaments and appurtenan-
ces thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the
reversion and reversions remainder and remainders
