The State of North Carolina } Know all men by these presents that I W.A. Pool
Iredell County              } Atty in fact for Julia C. Smith J.N. Smith Mary
E. Heffner, W.P. Heffner, A.P. Puett, Sarah C. Puett W.H. Hagler, Clara Hagler,
W.H. Hagler, D.G. Hagler, J.C. Hagler heirs at law of Wm C. Hagler decd of the
aforesaid County and State for and in Consideration of the sum of Four Hundred
Dollars to me in hand paid by Andrew J. Cone of the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
Convey unto him the said Andrew J. Cone an undivided one half interest
in and to all that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua State of Florida Known and described as follows
to wit, South East quarter of South west quarter of Section Twenty in
Township Eight South of Range Seventeen East, and the South East quarter
of South East quarter of the North East quarter & the South East quarter of
the South West quarter of Section Twenty nine in Township Eight South
Range Seventeen East & the South West quarter of the North West quarter
& the North West quarter of the South West quarter of Section Twenty eight
in Township Eight South Range Seventeen East, also the South East
quarter of the North West quarter of Section Sixteen in Township Eight,
South Range Seventeen East, Containing by estimation Four Hundred
acres of land more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining, To have and to hold the same unto him the said Andrew J.
Cone, and to his heirs Executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple absolute. And I, the said W.A. Pool Atty in fact aforesaid
do hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said Andrew J. Cone that
I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that I have good and lawful right to sell and Convey the same
that the same is free from all incumbrances of any Kind whatsoever
and that I will and my heirs Executors and administrators shall and
will forever Warrant and defend the same unto the said Andrew J.
Cone and to his heirs Executors administrators and assigns against
the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
now Claiming or hereafter to claim the same,

my seal on the 21st day of November AD 1890
