The United States of America, To all to whom these presents shall Come Greeting
Whereas in pursuance of the Act of Congress approved March 22nd 1852, entitled
"An Act to make Bounty Land warrants assignable and for other purposes"
Warrant No 418 for 40 acres issued in favor of Noble A. Strobhar private
in Captain Dell's Company Florida Volunteers Seminole War has been
returned to the General Land office with evidence that the same has been
duly located upon the North West Quarter of the North East Quarter of Sec
tion Thirteen in Township Eight South of Range Fifteen East in the District
of Lands subject to sale at Newnansville Florida Containing Forty acres and
Twelve hundredths of an acre, according to the Official Plat of the Sur
vey of the said land returned to the General Land office by the Surveyor General
which has been assigned to Hardy Polk, Now Know ye That there is therefore
granted by the United States unto the said Hardy Polk and to his heirs
the tract of Land above described: To have and to Hold the said tract of land
with the appurtenances thereof unto the said Hardy Polk and to his heirs
and assigns forever, In Testimony whereof I Franklin Pierce, Pres
ident of the United States of America have Caused these Letters to be
made Patent and the seal of the General Land office to be hereunto af
fixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington the second day
of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
Fifty four, and of the Independence of the United States the Seventy ninth
