This Indenture made this 27th day of April AD 1889. Between Wilson
January of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of
the first part and H.M. Fleming E.F. Simmons Ed Alexander
S.C. Anderson & E.B. Simmons Trustees of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida parties of the second part. Witnesseth, That
the said party of the first part for and in Consideration of the sum
of Three Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby ac
knowledged have bargained sold and transferred and by these presents
does bargain sell and transfer unto the said parties of the second part
and their successors forever all that Certain parcel of land lying and being
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and more particularly described
as follows, Commencing two hundred and ten feet from the Centre of Lot Six
of a Subdivision of Lot Six, the same being a subdivision of Sec 11 Town
ship Ten (10) South of Range 19, East as recorded in Book 26 page
337 of the records in the Clerks office of the Circuit Court in said County and
running South two hundred & ten feet, thence west two hundred and ten
feet, thence North two hundred and ten feet, Thence East two hundred & ten
feet to the point of beginning. The same being Conveyed to the Trustees as
parties of the second part for the use and benefit of the East Newport
Baptist Church in said State & County, Together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances with every privilege right
title interest and Estate dower and right of dower, reversion remainder
and Easement thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have and
to Hold the same in fee simple forever, for the use and benefit as before
Stated, And the said party of the first part do covenant with the said
parties of the second part that he is lawfully seized of said premises, that
they are free of all incumbrance and that he has good right and lawful
authority to sell the same and that he will warrant and defend the same
against the lawful claims of all persons, In Witness Whereof the said
party of the first part have hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year above written
