Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that pursuant to the act of 
Congress approved 20th May 1862 "To secure Homesteads to Actual Settlers 
on the public Domain" and the Acts Supplemental thereto the claim 
of Napoleon B. Reilly has been established And duly Consumated in Con
formity to law for the North half of the South East quarter and the South
half of the North East quarter of Section Twelve in Township Ten South 
of Range Fourteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida Containing one 
hundred and fifty nine acres and two hundredths of an acre, according 
to the official plat of the survey of the said land returned to the 
General Land Office by the Surveyor General, Now Know ye That there 
is therefore Granted by the United States unto the said Napoleon 
B. Reilly the tract of land above described, To have and to hold the said
tract of land with the appurtenances thereof unto the said Napoleon 
B. Reilly and to his heirs and assigns forever In Testimony whereof 
I Benjamin Harrison President of the United States of America have 
Caused these letters to be made Patent and the Seal of the General Land 
Office to be hereunto affixed, Given under my hand at the City of Washing
ton the Twenty ninth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand 
Eight hundred and ninety, and of the Independence of the United States 
the one hundred and fourteenth

Th Grantor A.F. Smith of Alachua County Florida in Consider
ation of One Hundred Dollars paid being seized in fee simple
hereby Grant bargain sell and Convey with the General Covenant
of Warranty unto Nancy Madison her heirs and assigns for
ever to have and to hold in fee simple, the following described
Real Estate in Alachua County Florida to wit, Commencing
at the South West Corner of a ten acre piece of land Deeded
to J.W. Smith by S.H. Benjamin and bounded as follows, North
by W.T. Shuford, East by Section line, South by J.C. Winecoff
and West by Thos McCredie and running thence North
Two hundred and ten feet Thence East Two hundred and
Ten feet, Thence South Two hundred and ten feet, Thence
West Two hundred and Ten feet to point of beginning being
in S (31) T (11) S of Range (21) Containing one acre, which we
our heirs our Executors and Administrators will forever War
rant and Defend hereby relinquishing all rights of Dower
Courtesy separate Estate Homestead and all rights whatsoever
in the above premises, Witness our hands and seals this 9th day of August 1887
