Mary Stetson, Transcript Last Will & Testament of
I, Mary Stetson of Vigo County State of Indiana do make and
publish this my last will and testament,
Item first: It is my will that all my just debts and all charges
shall be paid out of my Estate,
Item Second, I give and devise all the residue of my estate to
my beloved Husband Chauncey M. Stetson, to be to him and his
heirs forever
Item Third: I make and appoint the said Chauncey M. Stetson
my beloved husband Executor of this my last will and Testament
and it is my will that he shall not give any bond therefor and
that he shall have full power to adjust all claims pay all
debts, and Collect the same as may think just and proper
In Testimony hereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal this
Sixth day of August 1885.

Vigo County      } Gustave C. Lindemann personally appeared
before the Clerk of the Vigo Circuit Court and being duly sworn says
that Mary Stetson signed her name to the above writing of date
of 6" day of Aug 1885 as and for her last will and that the
same was attested and subscribed by said affiant and Frank
Hensley as witnesses thereto in the presence of said Testatrix and
by her request and that said Testatrix declared the same to be
her last will and that said Testatrix was not at the time of Executing
Said will and infant or of unsound mind or under Coercion

State of Indiana Vigo County:   I John C. Warren Clerk of the
Vigo Circuit Court Certify that the within last will of Mary Stetson
late of said County deceased has been duly admitted to probate
that its due Execution was this day proved by Gustave C. Lindeman
whose proofs together with such will have been duly recorded
on pages 249 and 250 of Record No 3 of Wills in our Office
