the claim of John H. Sanders has been established And duly Consumated 
in Conformity to law, for the North half of the North East quarter, the South
West quarter of the North East quarter and the North West quarter of the 
South East quarter of Section Thirty Six in Township Nine South of Range 
Fourteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida Containing one hundred 
and Sixty Six Acres and Eighty four hundredths of an acre, according to 
the Official plat of the Survey of the said land returned to the General 
Land Office by the Surveyor General, Now Know ye That there is therefore 
Granted by the United States unto the said John H. Sanders the tract of land 
above described, To have and to hold the said tract of land with the 
appurtenances thereof unto the said John H. Sanders and to his heirs and 
assigns forever, In testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison President 
of the United States of America have Caused these letters to be made Patent 
and the Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed, 
Given under my hand at the City of Washington the twenty ninth day of 
April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and ninety and 
of the independence of the United States the one hundred and fourteenth

State of Florida } Whereas Cornelius Rain Sr late of Alachua County
Alachua County   } Florida who is now deceased, did, in his lifetime sell
and Convey to one L.J. Patterson, the property hereinafter described and
put Said L.J. Patterson in the lawful possession thereof: and whereas the
Said L.J. Patterson and those Claiming under him have Continued to
occupy the premises Continuously and adversely to the present time,
And whereas the said Cornelius Rain Senior died on the 21st day
of October AD 1871 and John R. Bevill and Rebecca P. Goss (formerly
Rebecca P. Rain) were qualified and acted, and are now acting
as the Administrators of and for the Estate of said Cornelius Rain
Senior, deceased, And whereas Jeannie B. Stewart is now the bona
fide owner of the property hereinafter described; And whereas the deed
from Cornelius Rain, Senior to the said L.J. Patterson has been lost and
Cannot be found: And whereas the said Administrators desire to
Confirm and ratify the Act of the said decedent therefore Know all men
by these presents that we the said John R. Bevill, and Rebecca P. Goss
as administrators of and for the estate of Cornelius Rain Senior
deceased for and in Consideration of the premises, and in Consid
eration of the further sum of ($100) to them Cash in hand paid
