State of Florida } Received of Z.P. Freeman the sum of Fifteen
Alachua County   } Dollars in part payment for land described
as follows to wit, SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Sec 30 in Township 7S of
Range 16 E, Section 30 Township 7 South of Range 16 East which
we have this day sold to Z.P. Freeman for the sum of One Thousand
dollars the balance to be paid on or before Ninety days from this date
and hereby obligate our heirs executors and administrators to execute
and deliver to the said Z.P. Freeman his heirs or assigns a good and
sufficient warranty and Conveying clear title to said land free from
all encumbrance with an abstract of title to the same but should
the said Z.P. Freeman fail to perform his part of this Contract promptly
at the time and in the manner specified, time being the essence of
this Contract then the above sum of fifteen dollars shall be forfeited
by him as liquidated damages and the above Contract shall be and
become null and void, Witness our hands and seals this 14 day of Augst AD 1891

and deliver the foregoing Contract for the purposes therein mentioned
and that he together with Lewis W. Langford signed their names as
subscribing witnesses to the Signatures of the said H.M. Connerly Frances
Connerly J.R.C. Knight & S.J. Knight to said Contract
