of the United States a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office at 
Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that pursuant to the act of Congress 
Approved 20th May 1862, "To Secure Homesteads to actual settlers on the 
public Domain" and the acts supplemental thereto the claim of Upson 
Alexander Wright has been established and duly Consumated in Conformity 
to law for the South East quarter of Section Four in Township Nine South 
of Range Seventeen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida Containing one 
Hundred and Sixty acres and fifty hundredths of an acre, according to the offi
cial Plat of the Survey of the said Land, returned to the General Land office by 
the Surveyor General, Now Know ye That there is therefore Granted by the United 
States unto the said Upson Alexander Wright the tract of Land above described, 
To Have and to Hold the said tract of Land with the appurtenances thereof 
unto the said Upson Alexander Wright and to his heirs and assigns for
ever. In testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison President of the United 
States of America have Caused these letters to be made Patent and the seal 
of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed, Given under my hand at 
the City of Washington the Eighth day of July in the Year of our Lord one 
thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty nine and of the Independence of the 
United States the One Hundred and fourteenth

State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into on this 1st
Alachua County   } day of January AD 1855 by and between Samuel
B. Colding Trustee and Jemima Colding his wife of Alachua
County Florida parties of the first part and John Fleming of Said
County and State party of the second part, Witnesseth: That the
parties of the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of
 ---- Dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the sec
ond part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these pres
ents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted
bargained sold aliened, released and Conveyed, and by these
presents do grant bargain sell alien release Convey and Con
firm unto the party of the second part all of the rights title
interest claim and demand at law or in equity which the
parties of the first part now have or may be entitled to of in
or to and over all of that Certain tract or parcel of land
