South West quarter of Section Thirty Six in Township Nine South of Range
Sixteen East in the District of Lands subject to sale at Gainesville Florida 
Containing Eighty two acres and twenty Six hundredths of an acre, according 
to the Official plat of the survey of the said Land returned to the General 
Land Office by the Surveyor General. Now Know ye, That there is therefore 
Granted by the United States unto the said James J. Knighten the tract 
of Land above described, To have and to hold the said tract of Land 
with the appurtenances thereof unto the said James J. Knighten and 
to his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof I Ulysses S. 
Grant President of the United States of America have Caused these letters 
to be made Patent and the seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto 
affixed Given under my hand at the City of Washington the first 
day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and 
Seventy five and of the Independence of the United States the Ninety ninth

This Indenture made this twenty fourth day of May in the Year of
our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Seven, Between
James J. Knighten and Nancy E.J. Knighten wife of said James J.
Knighten of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the
first part and John F. Nipper of the same County and State party
of the second part Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred dollars to them
in hand paid by the said party of the second part at and before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released Conveyed
and Confirmed and by these presents do bargain sell release grant
Convey and Confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever all that Certain Lot or parcel of Land lying
and situated in the County and State aforesaid described as follows
to wit, North Half of the South West quarter, Sec Thirty Six T
Nine R 16, Together with all and singular the tenements here
ditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining, and the estate right title interest property posses
sion claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in
equity of the said party of the first part in and to the above
described land, and every part and parcel thereof, To have
and to Hold the above granted bargained and described
