Alachua County   } Executor of the Estate of Mrs Amelia Haile decd of the
County & State aforesaid for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two
Hundred and Fifty nine Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt 
of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and released
by these presents do bargain sell and release unto Smith Coleman 
of the County and State aforesaid, his heirs and assigns, all that tract
or parcel of land lying and being in said County & State and described
as follows viz, Beginning at a Stake twelve & 75/100 Chains from the
SE Corner of Section 23 Township 9 Range 18E, running S Twelve
& 75/100 Chains to a Stake, Thence W- Forty Eight Chains to a Stake
Thence N Twelve & 75/100 chains to a stake, Thence E, Forty Eight chains
to the point of beginning, Containing Sixty & 2/3 (60 2/3) acres in Section
26, Township 9 Range 18E. I do hereby bind myself my heirs Ex
ecutors and administrators to warrant and forever defend the title
of the land aforesaid unto the said Smith Coleman his heirs and
Assigns against all persons or person lawfully claiming or claim
the same, Witness my hand & Seal this the 26" day of May AD 1880
