Homestead Certificate No 5337 } The United States of America, To all whom
Application 7806 } these presents Shall come Greeting, whereas there
has been deposited in the General Land Office of the United States a Certificate of the
Register of the Land Office at Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that pursuant to
the act of Congress approved 20th May 1862 "To Secure Homesteads to Actual Settlers on
the Public Domain," and the acts supplemental thereto, the claim of John Fields
has been established And duly Consumated in Conformity to law for the North
half of the South East quarter of Section Thirty Two in Township Seven South of
Range Nineteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida Containing Eighty acres
and eleven hundredths of an Acre, According to the official plat of the Survey of the
Said land returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, Now Know
ye That there is therefore Granted by the United States unto the Said John Fields the
tract of Land above described: To have and to hold the said tract of Land with the
appurtenances thereof unto the Said John Fields and to his heirs and assigns forever
In testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison President of the United States of America
have Caused these letters to be made Patent and the Seal of the General Land office
to be hereunto affixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington the fifth day
of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety and of
the Independence of the United States the one hundred and fourteenth

The State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Henry B.
Marion County } King and Hattie C. King his wife who Signs this deed
in relinquishment of dower of the aforesaid County and State and in Con
Sideration of the Sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars to us in hand paid by
Catalina T. Hartridge of the County of Duval in the State of Florida the receipt
whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained Sold and Conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain and Convey unto her the Said Catalina
T. Hartridge all that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land Situated ly-
ing and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida particularly
Known and described as follows to wit: The South East quarter of Section
Eighteen (18) in Township Ten (10) South of Range Fifteen (15) East
of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida Containing one hundred and
Sixty two acres and ten hundredths of an acre, The Said Henry B.
King obtained a patent to Said described land from the United States
