for and in Consideration of Fifteen Dollars to it in hand paid does
by these presents grant alien and Convey unto W.H.H. Falk his heirs and
assigns the following piece of land in Alachua County Florida partic
ularly described upon the plat of Evergreen Cemetery as recorded among
public records of said County as follows to wit, 18 Lots in Block 48 of
Section 4, To have and to hold the same unto him and his heirs
and assigns forever as a place of permanent internment for White Per
sons under the rules and regulation of this Association not to Ex
ceed one interment in each lot. Provided however and these presents
are upon this express Condition that no transfer of the above granted prem
ises can be made without the Consent of this Association in writing
Witness the signature and seal of this Association by its authorized
officers at its office in the City of Gainesville Florida on this 30th day
of April AD 1891,

Homestead Certificate No 6450 } The United States of America, To all to whom
Application 13703 } these presents shall come Greeting, Whereas There
has been deposited in the General Land Office of the United States a Certificate of
the Register of the land Office at Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that pur
suant to the Act of Congress approved 20th May 1862 "To secure Homesteads to Actu
al Settlers on the Public Domain" and the acts supplemental thereto the claim
of Isaac Hines has been established And duly Consumated in Conformity to law
for the South West quarter of the North West quarter and the North West quarter
of the South West quarter of Section Seventeen, and the East half of the North
East quarter of Section Eighteen in Township Eight South of Range Six
teen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida containing one Hundred
and Sixty acres and Seventy one hundredths of an acre, according to the official
plat of the Survey of the said land returned to the General Land office by the Sur
veyor General Now Know ye That there is therefore granted by the United States
unto the said Isaac Hines the tract of land above described To have and
to Hold the said tract of Land with the appurtenances thereof unto the
said Isaac Hines and to his heirs and assigns forever,
In testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison President of the United
States of America have Caused these letters to be made Patent and the Seal
of the General Land office to be hereunto affixed, Given under my
hand at the City of Washington the twenty seventh day of December
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and ninety, and
of the Independence of the United States the one hundred and fifteenth
