Now Know ye That there is therefore granted by the United States unto the Said 
William S. Osteen the tract of land above described To have and to hold the

consideration of the Sum of Five Hundred Dollars to us in
hand paid by R.B. Hodgson of the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained Sold and Conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and Convey unto him the Said R.B.
Hodgson all that Certain lot tract or parcel of land Situated
lying and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida par
ticularly known and described as follows to wit, The west half
