To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting:
Homestead Certificate No 9865 }
Application 17449 } Whereas There has been deposited in the General Land office
of the United States a Certificate of the Register of the Land at Gainesville Florida
whereby it appears that pursuant to the Act of Congress approved 20th May 1862
"To secure Homesteads to actual Settlers on the Public Domain" and the acts Supplemental
thereto the Claim of William R. Clay has been established and duly consumated
in conformity to law for the North West Quarter of Section two in Township
nine South of Range Sixteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida
Containing one hundred and Fifty nine acres and seven hundredths of an acre
according to the official plat of the Survey of the said Land returned to the
General Land office by the Surveyor General. Now Know Ye, That there
is therefore, granted by the United States unto the said William R. Clay
the tract of Land above described: To Have and To Hold the said tract of
Land with the appurtenances thereof unto the said William R. Clay and to
his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison
President of the United States of America, have caused these letters to be
made Patent and the seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed
Given under my hand at the City of Washington the eleventh day of July in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety two and of the
Independence of the United States the one hundred and Seventeenth

Alachua County } This Indenture, made on this 16th day of November
AD 1898 between the Central City Building and Loan Association
a corporation under the laws of the State of Florida, party of the first
part, and John R. Zetrouer of the County of Alachua State of Florida party
of the second part Witnesseth; that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Sixty (60.00) dollars to it in hand
paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, to the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns forever the following described
land to wit: those certain lots, pieces or parcels of land Situated
lying and being in the town of Rochelle, County of Alachua and
State of Florida and particularly known, distinguished, and described
as follows to wit: Lot number four (4) in Block Seven (7) and lot Six
(6) in Block thirteen (13) according to the map of said town of Rochelle
which is recorded in deed Book "M" of the public records of Alachua
