                            To all to whom these presents shall Come Greeting:
Homestead Certificate No 9779 }  
Application   16158           } Whereas There has been deposited in the General 
Land Office of the United States a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office at 
Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that, pursuant to the Act of Congress 
approved 20th May 1862 "To Secure Homesteads to actual Settlers on the Public 
Domain" and the supplemental thereto, the Claim of Elisha W. Clark
has been established and duly consummated, in conformity to law for the 
South East quarter of the South West quarter of Section Nineteen in 
Township Seven South of Range Eighteen East of Tallahassee Meridian 
in Florida Containing forty acres according to the Official Plat of the 
Survey of the said Land returned to the General Land Office by the 
Surveyor General: Now Know Ye That there is therefore, granted by the 
United States unto the said Elisha W. Clark the tract of land above described. 
To Have and To Hold the said tract of Land with the appurtenances thereof 
unto the Said Elisha W. Clark and to his heirs and assigns forever.   
In testimony whereof I Benjamin Harrison President of the United States 
of America, have caused these letters to be made Patent and the Seal of 
the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed. 
Given under my hand at the City of Washington the Sixth day 
of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Ninety 
two and of the Independence of the United States the one hundred and Sixteenth

Alachua County       } Know all men by these Presents, That We Chas J.
Mixson and Susan E. Mixson his wife of the aforesaid County and State
for and in consideration of the Sum of Fifty Dollars to us in hand paid by
Geo E. Foster of the County of _____ in the State of W. Va the receipt whereof we
do hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained sold conveyed and
quit claimed and by these presents do grant bargain Sell convey and quit
Claim unto him the said Geo E. Foster all that certain lot, piece tract
or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua State
of Florida, particularly Known and described as follows to wit. South half (S 1/2)
of North West quarter (NW 1/4) of Sec Thirty five (35) Township Seven (7) South
of Range Seventeen (17) East (S 1/2 of NW 1/4 Sec 35 Tp 7 S R17E) containing by
Estimation Eighty acres of land more or less, Together with all and
