County State of Florida hereby certify that on this 3rd day of February AD
1899 before me personally came Henry T. Joiner and Mary E. Joiner wife of
Henry T. Joiner to me known to be the individuals described in and who
executed the foregoing instrument who acknowledged that they executed
the same for the purposes therein expressed. And the said Mary E. Joiner
wife of said Henry T. Joiner acknowledged before me separately and apart
from her husband said Henry T. Joiner that she executed the same
freely and voluntarily and without compulsion, constraint apprehension
or fear of or from her husband for the express purpose of releasing
relinquishing and conveying all her right of dower homestead separate
estate, and all her rights, legal and equitable in and to the lands in said
conveyance described and conveyed.

Wm Wise Trustee   }
     This Indenture made this 23rd day of March AD 1899 Between
U.F. Tillis and Mary M. Tillis of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida parties of the first part and William Wise as
Trustee for the Colored Masonic Lodge of Newberry of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida, party of the second
part Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars to us in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
sold and transferred and by these presents do bargain sell and
transfer unto the said party of the second part and his
heirs and assigns forever all that Certain parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
and more particularly described as follows to wit: Lot Two (2) in
Block Seventeen (17) in the Town of Newberry according to
plat of Said Town as made by J.W. Newman in the Year
1894 Together with all the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
with every privilege, right title interest and estate dower and
right of dower reversion remainder and easement thereto belonging
or in anywise appertaining: To Have and To Hold the same in fee
Simple forever. And the Said parties of the first part do covenant
with the said party of second part that they are lawfully Seized
of said premises; that they are free of all incumbrances, and that
they will warrant and defend the same against the lawful claims
of all persons. In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first
part have hereunto set hand and seal the day and year above written
