This Indenture made this eighteenth day of May AD 1898
between J.D. Matheson and his wife Augusta S. Matheson of the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida parties of the first part and
Jane Hunter of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
party of the second part Witnesseth: That the said parties of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five ($75) Dollars
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold
to the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever
the following described land to wit: All of lot three (3) block Seven
(7) in what is Known as P.H. Youngs map of Lot or Block Seven (7)
in the NW 1/4 of Sec five (5) T ten (10) S R twenty (20) E Known as
Brown's addition to Gainesville Fla said Map Recorded July twenty
second (22nd) 1884 in Deed Book T at page 114 said lot being
seventy (70) by front by one hundred & fifty ft deep.
And the said parties of the first part do hereby agree to defend
the title to said land against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and affixed our seals on this eighteenth day of May AD 1989

Alachua County } I hereby Certify that on this eighteenth
day of May AD 1809 before me personally appeared Mrs Augusta
S. Matheson wife of J.D. Matheson the grantor in the foregoing conveyance
who being duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart
from her said husband says and acknowledges before me that
she did sign the said deed of Conveyance for the purpose of
releasing relinquishing and renouncing all her right of dower in
and to the land in said deed described and that said relinquishment
and renunciation of dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband
