Loundes County } This Indenture made this the 28th day of January 1898
between Albert Pridgen of Lake Park Loundes County Georgia of the first part and
C.R. Shaw of La Crosse Alachua County Florida of the second part.
Witnesseth That the said Albert Pridgen for and in consideration of the Sum of
Three Hundred dollars cash, and the further consideration of the said C.R. Shaw's
assuming all liabities and Contracts of the firm of C.H. Connerly & Company
before the delivery of these presents, the said Albert Pridgen hereby sells and
conveys one half of his One Third Interest in the firm assets of C.H. Conoley and
Company at La Crosse Alachua County Florida Consisting of real and personal
property as follows, Ten acres of land on which the Still and other buildings are
located and now operated by C.H. Conoley and Company. Also about
Nine hundred and twenty of land known as the "Thomas lands"
Also all leases of every kind and description owned and controlled by C.H. Conoley
& Company. Also four mules & three horses, two wagons and harness One buggy
& Harness, all tools and implements One Still & fixtures - all crude turpentine
and naval Stores, Sock goods and accounts on hands and all other assets
of the said of the said firm of C.H. Conoley & Company - it being the purpose and
intention of the Said A.P. Pridgen to convey one half of his one third interest
in the entire firm assets of the firm of C.H. Conoley & Company Subject to all
liabilities and contracts as above Stated. To Have to Hold the said bargained
premises together with all and singular the rights and members and
appurtenances belonging in anywise or appertaining to the only proper use &
benefit unto the said C.R. Shaw his assigns. The said A. Pringle will
warrant & defend all titles against himself & all persons claiming through or
by him against all persons whatsoever. Given under my & seal this
the 29th day of January 1898
