her free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and the said Emma
Minton on an examination taken did acknowledge that she made herself a party to the said
deed for the purpose of releasing and conveying all of her separate Statutory Estate in and
to the lands, tenements and hereditaments therein described and thereby granted
and released and that she executed said deed freely and without any
compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

Application   23389            } To all to whom these presents Shall come Greeting
                    Whereas There has been deposited in the General Land Office of the 
United States a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Gainesville Florida whereby 
it appears that pursuant to the Act of Congress approved 20th May 1862 "To Secure 
Homesteads to actual Settlers on the Public Domain" and the acts supplemental thereto
the claim of Brantley H. Dupree has been established and duly consumated 
in conformity to law for the South half of the South East quarter and the South
half of the South West quarter of Section twenty Six in Township ten South 
of Range Sixteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida, Containing One hundred 
and Sixty acres and Eighty Seven hundredths of an acre according to the Official 
Plat of the Survey of the said Land returned to the General Land Office by 
the Surveyor General. Now Know Ye That there is therefore granted by 
the United States unto the said Brantley H. Dupree the tract of Land 
above described. To Have and To Hold the said tract of land with the 
appurtenances thereof unto the said Brantley H. Dupree and to their heirs 
and assigns forever. In Testimony Whereof I, William McKinley President of the 
United States of America have caused these letters to be made Patent and the 
Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed. 
Given under my hand at the City of Washington on the twelfth day of 
May in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and 
ninety nine and of the Independence of the United States the one 
hundred and twenty third
