the first thence South running West One Hundred Thirty two and a half 
chains thence West running North One Hundred  and fifty one chains thence 
North running East One Hundred thirty two and a half chains to the place 
of beginning Containing and intended to contain two thousand acres as afore
said  To have and to hold All and Singular the above mentioned and discribed 
premises, together with the hereditaments, rights, privileges thereunto belonging 
or in any wise appertaining, And the reversion and reversions, remainder and 
remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof nd also all the estate, right, 
title, interest, property, claim, possession and demand whatsoever as well 
in law as in equity of the parties of the first part unto the said parties 
of the second part their heirs and assigns forever  to their only proper 
use benefit and behoof
                 In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set 
their hands and seals the day and year first before written

            I Mary Adele Flotard wife of the within named Theodore 
Flotard do hereby renounce and relinquish unto Henry P. Brandin and John Moloney the grantees 
named in the within deed All my right of dower in and to the premises hereby and therein 
granted and conveyed, and I do declare that I make this relinquishment and renunciation freely, 
Voluntarily and without any fear compulsion or restraint of said Theodore Flotard.  In Witness 
whereof  I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21 day of March 1831

Leon County  ss   I, L.A. Thompson one of the justices of the peace in and for the County 
aforesaid do hereby certify that Mary A. wife of Theodore Flotard personally appeared before me, and 
being by me examined separately and apart from her said husband, Acknowledged that she 
had freely, voluntarily, and without Any Compulsion or restraint of her said husband relinquished 
All her right of dower in And to the premises within conveyed unto the grantees therein named 
and that she wished not to retract the same  In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand 
and seal this 21st day of March One thousand Eight hundred and thirty one
