Teritory of Florida This Indenture made this the twen
Alachua County tyeth day of December 1834 Between
George W. Rawls of said County of the
first part and Mary K. Hodge of said county of the
second part and William Hope of said County of the
third part. Whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be
had and solemnized between the said Geo W. and Mary K.
and whereas it has been agreed by and between the said Geo W.
and the said Mary K. that in consideration of said marriage
the said Geo W. Shall and by these presents does make
provision for the support and comfort of the said Mary K. his
intended wife and that property shall be vested in a trustee to be
held by him in trust for such purposes, - Now this Indenture
Witnesseth that the said Geo W. For and in consideration of the
premises, and for the further consideration of the sum of
five dollars to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery
of these presents by the said William Hope the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged and by and with the and
consent of the Mary K. by her being a party to these
presents, hath granted, bargained and sold aliened and
set over unto the said William Hope his Executors administrators
and assigns the following discribed property to wit) four
hundred and fifty head of stock cattle now ranging on or
near Pains Prairie marked as follows - swallow fork
and under bit in the right ear under bit and slot
in the left one sorrel mare and colt one bay mare and
one sorrel horse together with the increase of said property
To have and to hold the same and for the trust and
purposes following, that is to say, in trust for the said Geo
W. And his assigns untill the solemnization of the intended
marriage thence upon trust that the said William Hope
his heirs Executors administrators shall permit the said
Mary K. during the joint lives of her and her intended
husband the said Geo W. to remain and take the issues |
