Alachua County	       Sam’l B. Fitzpatrick the within named 
                      witness who being duly sworn says that 
he witnessed the execution of the within deed of Trust by 
the within named parties and that he saw the said 
Townsend witness the same and that the parties acknowl
edged the same to be their free act and deed.

Alachua County	     Know all men by these presents that 
                     I Stephen V. Walker of the Tery and 
County aforesaid hath this day for and in consideration 
of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid the receipt 
whereof I do hereby acknowledge hath bargained and 
sold and by these presents bargain and sell unto 
Michael Garrason, his heirs executors & assigns all 
my right and title to an improvement on the North 
side of Pains Prairie which improvement I do bind 
myself my heirs executors & assigns to warrant & defend 
unto the said Garrason &c against the claim or 
claims of all other person or persons whatsoever except
