as by references to the said agreement will more fully
appear -- And Whereas by a subsequent arrangement or
agreement between the same parties Fernando de la Maza
Aradondo & Son agreed to convey to the said Joseph Ward
the one equal half part of the surplus lands in the said
grant at Lachua aforesaid the said half amounting by
computation to thirty nine thousand four hundred and
ninety seven acres and a half -- And whereas the
said Fernando de la Maza Aredondo & Son have in
pursuance of said agreement bearing date the fifteenth
day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty one
at the request and by the appointment of the said Jasper
Ward by themselves or their attorneys conveyed to -
To Nathaniel Wells thirty thousand acres of that said
land to Ichabod Prall ten thousand acres to the above
named Nehemiah Brush ten thousand acres of land
to Elijah Huntington ten thousand acres to William
Thorn, Noah Jarvis and Alexander Mallern as trustee
of the Florida Association of New York thirty thousand
seven hundred and twenty acres of the said land
making together ninety thousand seven hundred and
twenty acres and have in further execution of the said
two agreements executed a conveyance for the residue of
the said One hundred and forty four thousand eight
hundred and twenty two acres and the half of said
surplus amounting together to about ninety three thousand
six hundred acres to the said Jasper Ward but have not
yet delivered the said conveyance and the same is now
in the hands of Henry Thomas of the City of New York
Merchant - And whereas the said Jasper Ward the
party hereunto of the first part is desirous to sell convey
and assign to the party hereunto of the second part the
residue of the said One thousand hundred and forty four
thousand eight hundred and twenty two acres |
