			I Nicholas Dean Clerk of the City 
and County of New York - Do hereby Certify that Ambrose 
Kirtland - whose name is subscribed to the Certificate of  
proof or acknowledgment of the annexed Indenture or 
Instrument in Writing and thereon written was on the 
day of the date of said Certificate a Commissioner in 
and for the said City & County  aforesaid dwelling 
in said City  Commissioned and sworn and 
duly authorized by law to take the proof and 
acknowledgments of Deeds and discharges of Mortgages 
&c -  And further that I am acquainted with 
the hand writing of the said Commissioner and 
veraly believe that the signature of Ambrose Kirtland 
subscribed to said Certificate is the proper hand 
writing of the said Commissioner
	In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my 
hand and affixed the seal of said County the 14th 
day of December 1827
