issue and increase of the said female Dolly: To have and to hold said
above bargained & sold Negro Slaves together with all the future issue and
increase of the said female Dolly unto the said Hanson his executors, admin
istrators and assigns forever. Provided Nevertheless and these presents are
upon this Condition that if the said Humphreys shall and doth well and
truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Hanson the said sum of
three Hundred and thirty five Dollars on or before the first day of January
Next then these presents and every matter and thing herein contained shall cease
and be utterly void Otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue
In Witness whereof the said Co'l Gad Humphreys hath hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written

City of St. Augustine East Florida 18th day of September 1833 personally
appeared before me J. Gray Jr Mayor of the City of St. Augustine D. Levy who being
duly sworn deposes and says that G. Humphreys did in his presence sign seal
and acknowledge the within instrument as his Act and Deed given under my
hand and seal this 18th day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight
hundred and thirty two J. Gray Jr. Mayor
