This Indenture made the thirteenth day of June 
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and thirty five between Moses Elias Levy of the 
Teritory of Florida and of the part and Samuel L. 
Goveneur Esq’r of the other part 
City and State of New York of the second 
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first 
part for and in consideration of the sum of Six 
Thousand Eight hundred dollars lawful money 
of the United States of America to him in hand 
paid by the said party of the second part 
at or before the ensealing and delivery of these 
presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged 
hath granted bargained sold aliened remised 
released and delivered conveyed confirmed 
and by these presents doth grant bargain 
sell alien remise release convey and confirm 
unto the said party of the second part and to 
His heirs and assigns forever all that tract, or 
all these 2 Tracts of land lying and being 
in the County of Alachua in the said Teritory of 
Florida distinguished in the plan of survey 
in a plat here unto annexed to the deed of the said 
Moses Elias Levy to Joseph M. White & there with re
corded by the number (4) Four and ten (10) and the 
name S. L. Gouveruer containing sixteen hundred 
and sixty six acres each being a part of a Tract 
of Forty two thousand acres granted to George I.F. 
Clark on the seventeenth day of December Eigh
teen hundred and seventeen in the Hammocks 
of Cuscowillo & Chaculor west of the River St 
Johns Forty thousand acres thereof was confirmed 
to the said Moses Elias Levy by the decree of the 
Supreme Court of the United States according to the
