Know all men by these presents
that I Gad Humphreys of the Teritory and county
aforesaid for diverse god causes and reasons me there
with moving and hereafter stated have this day
alinenated released transferred and conveyed (in
Trust) to John Parhill Esquire cashier of the Union
Bank of Florida for the purposes f securing the
payment of a certain note of hand for the sum
of six thousand dollars baring date the 21 st
day of July 1835 (with the interest which
may accrue thereon) made by me payable to
the order of George Center Esq’r of Micanopa in the
County aforesaid and payable six months after
date at the Union Bank of Florida Which note
is endorsed by said Center and Charles Waldron
Esq’r residents and merchants at Micanopy aforesaid
The following property to wit My plantation of ****
hundred and fifty acres of Land the improvements
thereon lying and being situate at a place
called Big Swamp in the Count aforesaid -
also the Negro slaves named and discribed
in the list and appraisement here unto annexed
To have and to hold all the said lands,
Negroes &c unto him the said John Parkill in
trust as aforesaid for the purposes aforesaid
and for the further purposes of securing indemnity
to the said George Center & Charles Waldron
as endorsers upon my note aforesaid and
it is hereby expressly understood and agreed
by me that in the event of any defalcation
or failure to pay said the aforesaid at
maturing or when due then and in |
