		This indenture made this 27th 
day December in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and thirty one between Charles Thompson 
of the one part & J.J. Helvinston of the other part 
Witnesseth that he the said Charles Thompson has for 
and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and 
fifty dollars the recept whereof is hereby acknowledged 
bargained & sold to J.J. Helvinston a certain tract 
of land lying and being in said County & Teritory 
situate in the ninth Township range eighteen 
section twelfth in the North east corner of sd section 
Together with the improvement made by the late 
H.E. Williams and having not yet obtained the 
patent has made a transfer of the certificate of 
sd perchase from the Commissioner of the land office 
in St Augustine to the said J.J. Helvinston and do 
by these presents together with John Heck enter into 
bond of Five hundred Dollars for the transfer of 
the patent also as soon as obtained
	The Condition of the above bond are such that 
if the said Charles Thompson or John Heck do 
make a transfer of sd transfer patent to the said 
J.J. Helvinston then the above obligation shall be 
null and void if not it shall remain in full force
