This Indenture made this twenty eight day 
August in the year of Our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and thirty five - Between Joseph 
Delavante of London in the Kingdom of Great 
Brittain and Seraphina Chauveteau of Paris 
in the Kingdom of France by Moses Elias Levy 
of Alachua in the Teritory of Florida their 
Attorney in fact by virtue a certain power of 
Attorney the one executed by the said Seraphina 
Chauveteau and bearing date the tenth 
day of January in the year 1829 and 
recorded in the Clerks Office in the County of 
Alachua in the Book of County Records 
at pages 140 to 150 the sixth day of July 1835 the 
other other executed by the said Joseph Delavante 
and bearing date the third day of February 
1835 and recorded in the said Book of 
County Records at pages 151 to 153 the seventh
