first part and Philip Hone of the City County 
and State of New York of the second part 
Witnesseth the said Moses Elias Levy by two 
certain Indentures of Mortgage bearing date 
the one the fifteenth day of March 1827 
and recorded in Columbia County Clerks Office 
in said Teritory - and the other the 
thirteenth day of January 1826 and recorded 
in Book at St Augustine in the said Teritory 
of Florida in Book G from page 11 to page 
21 - did for considerations in said mortages
Indentures of Mortgage respectively contained 
and for securing the monies therein mentioned 
and the payments thereof as therein specified 
Mortgage and and convey unto the said 
Joseph Delavante and Seraphina Chauveteau 
of the first part certain Lands situate in the 
Teritory of Florida of which said Lands 
herein after contained were conveyed are part 
and parcel  And whereas the said Lands 
herein after contained were conveyed by the 
said Moses Elias Levy to the said Philip 
Hone by deed bearing date the thirteenth 
day of June One thousand eight hundred 
and thirty five subject to the aforesaid Mort
gage And whereas the said parties of the 
first part at the desire and request of the said 
party of the second part - his heirs and 
assigns the lands herein after discribed and to 
accept and take the residue of the said Mortgaged 
Lands as the security for the sum of money 
remaining due upon the said mortgages 
as aforesaid and the Intent thereof
