By this public Instrument Be it known to all 
who it may concern that I William H. Maxwell 
Commissioner in and for the State of New York 
duly commissioned by the Governor of the Teritory of 
Florida by virtue of an Act of the Legislature 
of the said Teritory entitled An Act to Authorize the 
Appointment of Commissioners &c passed January 
24th 1831 and there in and hereby authorized and 
empowered to take acknowledgments of any Deeds 
Contract Letters of Attorney Mortgages or Conveyance
