other writing under seal to be used in said Teritory 
with with full power and authority to administer 
Oath and Affirmations take despositions &c Do 
hereby Certify that on the 28th day of August one 
thousand eight hund and thirty five before 
me said Commissioner personly came Moses Elias 
Levy known to me to be the individual named in 
and who executed the annexed Deed and 
in due form of law acknowledge that as 
the Attorney in fact of Joseph Delavante and 
Seraphina Chauveteau as in said deed specified 
he had signed sealed and delivered the said 
annexed Deed for the uses and purposes therein 
mentioned - I having first made known to him the 
contents of said Deed
