Territory of Florida
                     This Indenture made the twenty 
sixth day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand 
eight Hundred and Thirty Two:  Between Moses E. Levy of 
the City of St. Augustine, in said Territory, of the first part 
and John M. Hanson, also of the said City and Territory 
of the second part _  Whereas the said Moses E. Levy is justly 
indebted to the said party of the second part, in the sum 
of twelve Hundred Dollars, Lawful money of the United 
States, secured to be paid by a bond or Obligation, bearing even 
date herewith in the penal sum of Three Thousand Dollars 
lawful money aforesaid, conditions for the payment of the 
said first mentioned sum of Twelve Hundred Dollars payable 
on the first day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand 
eight hundred and Thirty three with the lawful interest 
thereon, as in the said Bond or Obligation is specified, and will fully 
appear.                     Now this Indenture, Witnesseth That the 
said party of the first part, for the better securing of the said 
sum of money according to the condition of the said bond or 
Obligation, and in consideration of One Dollar to him in hand 
paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, aliened, released, 
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents, do grant, bargain, 
sell, alien, release, convey, and confirm unto the said party 
of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever:  All that 
certain tract or parcel of land consisting of Two Thousand 
acres, situated and being in the Great Hammock or 
Ensimal Grande on the Okeloka Creek in that part of 
the Territory Known by the Spanish Government as the 
Alachua County, and since called St. Johns County  
but now Known to be within the county of          
   in the district of east Florida, which said tract or 
parcel of land was granted to one Donna Catalina 
de Jesus de los Flijuelos by the Spanish Government 
by Royal title or absolute grant, bearing date
